Did Rain Productions is a Canberra based film and imagery company. Since 2004 it has produced a diverse range of work, from television commercials and short films to animation and live performance.

Did Rain has also provided freelance services in still graphics and photo media. We manage a popular online social gallery, and specialise in imagery for musicians and performance art.  Did Rain’s non-commercial photography is regularly exhibited.

Did Rain Productions is managed by founder Asher Floyd – although a long list of talented film producers and artists have taken part in its many productions.

Recent work includes:

Our last LCA entrance, Babe, It's a Slippery Slope, won the Best Cinematography category in Lights! Canberra! Action! 2008.

Two of Did Rain’s previous short films, The Romantic and His Machine and The Negation of the Theme of Love , were finalists in the Lights! Canberra! Action! competition in 2006 and 2007.

In 2007, Asher Floyd partnered with three other local Canberra producers to create Frankly Awesome Media Productions. Their first project was a weekly update on the Canberra music scene, VigilanTV, running for a series of 16 episodes. Frankly Awesome are now in pre-production for further documentry work.

Currently, Did Rain is available for film projects, portraiture, design, and contract photography.
