It's the second consecutive year that cinematographer Asher Floyd has won the award, having previously found success with film Babe, It's a Slippery Slope in 2008. Did Rain has recently completed a live video for mysterious gypsy basket-cases Mr Fibby, and their story "Drag". Fibby will be performing their show "Little Girl Lost in the Devil's Black Beard" at the Canberra Fringe Festival, in February. Check out the video. |

At 630pm, 22nd of August 2008 - Did Rain photographer Asher Floyd exhibited four images at the Make Your Mark II exhibition. The event opened Canberra Living Artists Week - but was was over two hours later. So, the series People Have Tattoos can now be viewed online. |

Did Rain’s new film “Babe, It’s a Slippery Slope” has won the Best Cinematography award in 2008's Lights! Canberra! Action! competition. The film was screened to a large audience at the National Museum of Australia. It stars Ben Drysdale and Alice Cottee, and is a dark and desperate story. Stay tuned for further screenings… |

A series of photographs documenting the inaugural Tableaux Vivants event will be on display at The Front Gallery, Lyneham shops. The exhibition will complement the second Tableaux Vivants to be held in the venue on Saturday, January 19. Images go on display from the 16th. |

The event is an initiative of Bayonet Records, and Did Rain footage taken on the night will appear in a music video for Tom Woodward's latest single "Drinking the Dregs".
